0:00The speed of life often doesn't leave time for reflection.

0:10Without reflection, life can slip away from us.

0:20Today, as you meditate, allow God to speak to your heart and give you the clarity and wisdom to reflect and absorb your life as it is.

0:37Let the simple act of pausing and reflecting on God refresh your soul.

0:51Let's start by taking a few nice, deep breaths.

1:00As your breath begins to relax your body, allow your eyes to close like the sun sets.

1:13Take a moment to consider this verse: May the Lord bless you and protect you.

1:24May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

1:30May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace.

1:43Again, may the Lord bless you and protect you.

1:51May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

1:57May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace.

2:14When it feels comfortable, take a few nice, deep breaths in, really making a point to expand the body and expand the chest.

2:41Notice how the breath makes you feel.

2:55Now let the breath begin to settle.

3:05As your breath begins to settle, allow the body to become heavy.

3:19Notice any sensations in the body.

3:25See if you're holding on to any tension.

3:33Maybe the body is tight or maybe it's not.

3:39Either is okay.

3:49You're just scanning the body, looking for any areas of tightness and letting them release.

4:05And if the mind drifts away in thought, slowly bring it back to the feelings in the body and the breath.

4:25Your body knows how to relax.

4:36You don't have to think about it for it to happen, you are simply uncovering the calm that was always present.

4:56Let your awareness rest in the arms of God.

5:15Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

5:32Feel the body rise with each inhale, and then allow your awareness to rest in a little more with each exhale.

6:02Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

6:20Begin to notice the space around the body.

6:32Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

6:54When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

7:08Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

7:22Let go of your stress.

7:25Let go of your anxiety.

7:31You are exactly where you're meant to be.

7:44Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

8:01Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

8:24You are accepted here.

8:27You are loved.

8:43Take this verse with you.

8:47"May the Lord bless you and protect you.

8:53May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

8:59May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace." Allow your awareness to slowly come back to your body, and when it feels natural, begin to open

9:27your eyes.

9:30Sit back in your chair.

9:33Maybe you want to stretch a little bit.

9:36Do whatever feels good.

9:39Take a moment to notice how you feel.

9:44I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:48We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
