0:00"You will never speak to anyone more than you speak to yourself.
0:09Speaking to yourself in a kind and generous way can bring positive change.
0:22Life is hard, so give yourself the space to grow and make mistakes.
0:37Today, as you meditate, focus on what God says about you.
0:43And what God says about you is that you're His and you are loved.
0:55Okay, let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few deep breaths.
1:07As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.
1:20Now, take a moment to consider this verse, "I have loved you with a love that lasts forever." And again, "I have loved you with a love that lasts forever."
1:56Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.
2:08Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.
2:32Now, take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.
2:54With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.
3:13Now, begin to deepen the breath.
3:24Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.
3:42And then right back into the next inhale.
3:50Slow it down and make it deep.
4:00And then exhale.
4:03Let the body relax.
4:20Now, allow your breath to settle and let your mind settle with it.
4:39Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.
5:02Now, take a moment to be grateful for this opportunity to relax.
5:19Notice how good it feels just to be here in this moment.
5:35Let go of your worries and focus your attention on the breath.
5:58Nothing else matters right now.
6:03"You are here.
6:06There is nothing to do but relax." (pause of 11 seconds) Allow your body to honor the natural calm given by God's presence.
6:41(pause of 7 seconds) Just listening to the breath, noticing the rise and the fall of the chest.
6:58(pause of 6 seconds) Deep breath in, expanding the body, and then exhale, letting your awareness rest.
7:21(pause of 8 seconds) Take another deep breath as you feel your lungs expand.
7:29(pause of 4 seconds) And exhale, following the air back out through the mouth.
7:44(pause of 6 seconds) The thoughts may take you away, and that's okay.
8:02(pause of 9 seconds) With each breath, effortlessly rest into the arms of God.
8:26(pause of 12 seconds) Take this verse with you, "I have loved you with a love that lasts forever." (pause of 7 seconds) Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.
8:53Listen to the sound of your breathing, and when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.
9:07Give yourself a stretch, and sit back and relax.
9:12Remember to take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.
9:20I hope you feel better.
9:23Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
