0:00Like a plant needs water, your soul needs connection.

0:10Without regular connection with God, you'll find that things that normally bring your life meaning may not offer the same fulfillment.

0:23By taking time to meditate, you're watering all the areas of your life, by bringing God into your daily existence.

0:38Let's begin by noticing the weight of the body, allowing the body to relax into the chair.

0:55And as the body begins to relax, allow your eyes to close.

1:05Take a moment to consider this verse, "People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." And again, "People do not

1:33live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." Bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

2:06Not engaging with your feelings, just noticing them.

2:20Almost like you're observing your emotions, and then letting them go.

2:32Just like loosening your grip, you're letting go of those feelings.

2:51Let God handle whatever is out of your control.

3:04This is a place of acceptance and safety.

3:12You can always find rest in God.

3:24Now, begin to notice how your body feels.

3:34When it feels comfortable, begin to consciously relax the body.

3:48Scanning down from your head to your toes, release any areas of tension in the body.

4:08Surrender all of your stress and all of your responsibilities, and just let your mind rest.

4:32You are safe.

4:35God is looking out for you.

4:56Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.

5:03Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

5:22Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.

5:42Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly, and then exhale, controlling the breath.

6:03Allow yourself to be here in this moment.

6:13This is all that matters right now.

6:21Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.

6:28Release it to God.

6:40Today is a new day, with new opportunities.

6:54Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your creator, who loves you.

7:12Deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

7:30Remember, this is a place of love.

7:36Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.

7:42God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

8:02Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.

8:22Take this verse with you: People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

8:46When it feels easy, bring your attention back to the feeling of the breath.

8:55Take a few more deep breaths and slowly allow your eyes to open.

9:04Notice how the breath changes the way you feel.

9:09I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:13We'll see you again tomorrow.

9:16Take care of yourself.
