0:00Throughout the day, your brain is being bombarded with thoughts and emotions, and it's easy to get lost in them.

0:10But these endless thoughts can only pull you out of the present moment and cause you stress.

0:20When you meditate, you're taking the time to reconnect to the most true version of yourself.

0:32No one to impress.

0:34No decisions to be made.

0:37Just who you are in your heart.

0:46As you meditate today, allow yourself to leave those thoughts and come back to who you are.

1:01Let's start by taking a few nice, deep breaths.

1:11As your breath begins to relax your body, allow your eyes to close, like the sun sets.

1:24Now take a moment to consider this verse: Don't worry about anything.

1:34Instead, pray about everything.

1:38Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

1:50And again, don't worry about anything.

1:55Instead, pray about everything.

1:59Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

2:16When it feels comfortable, take a few nice, deep breaths in, really making a point to expand the body and expand the chest.

2:44Notice how the breath makes you feel.

2:58Now let the breath begin to settle.

3:08As your breath begins to settle, allow the body to become heavy.

3:22Notice any sensations in the body.

3:27See if you're holding on to any tension.

3:36Maybe the body is tight or maybe it's not.

3:42Either is okay.

3:51You're just scanning the body, looking for any areas of tightness and letting them release.

4:08And if the mind drifts away in thought, slowly bring it back to the feelings in the body and the breath.

4:28Your body knows how to relax.

4:39You don't have to think about it for it to happen.

4:44You are simply uncovering the calm that was always present.

4:59Let your awareness rest in the arms of God.

5:18Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

5:35Feel the body rise with each inhale, and then allow your awareness to rest in a little more with each exhale.

6:05Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

6:22Begin to notice the space around the body.

6:34Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

6:57When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

7:11Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

7:25Let go of your stress, let go of your anxiety.

7:34You are exactly where you're meant to be.

7:47Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

8:04Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

8:26You are accepted here.

8:30You are loved.

8:46Take this verse with you: Don't worry about anything.

8:53Instead, pray about everything.

8:57Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

9:14Allow your awareness to slowly come back to your body, and when it feels natural, begin to open your eyes.

9:29Sit back in your chair.

9:31Maybe you want to stretch a little bit.

9:35Do whatever feels good.

9:38Take a moment to notice how you feel.

9:43I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:47We'll see you again tomorrow, for another day of hope.
