0:01Our schedules and financial obligations are always pushing us to do more.

0:09More work, more responsibilities, more everything.

0:16But as these physical needs grow, they tend to crowd out our spiritual needs.

0:26Left unattended, our spiritual needs can leave big holes in our lives.

0:34Rest, and allow God to renew your soul.

0:43Okay, let's get started by allowing the body to relax.

0:53And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

1:03Now take a moment to consider this verse: "The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being." And again, "The

1:25place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being." Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

1:57Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.

2:21Now take a few deep breaths, and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.

2:42With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

3:02Now, begin to deepen the breath.

3:13Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.

3:31And then right back into the next inhale.

3:39Slow it down, and make it deep.

3:49And then exhale.

3:51Let the body relax.

4:09Now, allow your breath to settle, and let your mind settle with it.

4:27Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.

4:52Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the space around the room.

5:13Just noticing the sounds in the room, and the sensations on the body.

5:30Welcome these sensations as part of the practice.

5:51When it feels comfortable, take some nice deep breaths.

6:05Real easy, deep breaths.

6:28Now begin to slow down the inhale.

6:36Long, slow, deep inhalation, and then let the breath out, and relax.

6:50Again, take another long, slow, deep breath in, filling up the body, and then let the exhale come naturally.

7:12With each breath, let your mind relax.

7:30Allow your feelings to release and become a prayer to God.

7:46Now, for a few moments, let go of the focused attention and let your awareness rest.

7:59You are loved.

8:15Take this verse with you: The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.

8:38Softly, begin to bring your awareness back to the body, back to that feeling of weight in the body.

8:49And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take a big, deep breath in.

8:58Take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:04I hope you feel a little more present.

9:08We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.

9:14Take care.
