0:00When you meditate and pray, you're operating on God's time.

0:09Your heart and your mind are learning to operate at a slower pace.

0:18Moving at God's pace naturally allows you to see the beauty and kindness in the world.

0:28Okay.

0:30Let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:40As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:53Take a moment to consider this verse, "May the Lord bless you and protect you.

1:05May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

1:11May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace." Again, "May the Lord bless you and protect you.

1:30May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

1:36May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace." Let's begin to take note of how the body is feeling, not really thinking too much about it,

2:07just letting go of those feelings of tightness and tension.

2:21When it feels comfortable, take a few deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

2:52Deep breath in, expanding the body and filling the chest up, and exhale, feeling the chest fall and let go.

3:16Take another big, deep breath in and control the exhale, letting it take twice as long as the inhale.

3:33With each breath, allow the tension to melt away from the body.

3:53Now, allow your breath to take up a natural rhythm.

4:02Let the gentle sound of your breathing relax your mind.

4:20There is no way to do this wrong, just an easy, effortless awareness.

4:36Letting go.

4:54Now bring your attention to the position of the body.

5:03Make sure you can breathe in an open and natural way.

5:20Allow the chest to open and take a few nice, deep breaths.

5:32Let the breath fill the body up with life.

5:48With each breath, you're bringing your awareness into this moment.

6:06Relax, and allow God to speak to you in the way that He wants.

6:22Let your thoughts go, and allow your awareness to rest in this moment.

6:44If your thoughts wander off, that's okay.

6:50It's natural for the thoughts to drift.

7:10As best you can, leave those thoughts right where they are, and come back to that feeling of your body.

7:30Our feelings and emotions can distract us from the natural calm of God's love.

7:44There isn't anything to discover.

7:49It's always been there.

8:03This is a safe place.

8:07God loves you.

8:22Take this verse with you.

8:27"May the Lord bless you and protect you.

8:32May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

8:38May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.

9:04Listen to the sound of your breathing.

9:09And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

9:19Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.

9:23Remember to take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:31I hope you feel better.

9:34Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
