0:00If you're seeking warmth, then get close to the fire.

0:07If you're seeking a new life, you must get close to the source of life.

0:15As you meditate today, allow God's presence to fill you with new life.

0:25Go ahead and get comfortable in your position, really allowing the body to relax.

0:37And when you feel ready, let your eyes slowly close.

0:48Now, take a moment to consider this verse.

0:54God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

1:08And again, God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

1:33Now, bring your attention to the position of the body.

1:41Make sure you can breathe in an open and natural way.

1:54Allow the chest to open and take a few nice, deep breaths.

2:06Let the breath fill the body up with life.

2:20With each breath, you're bringing your awareness into this moment.

2:34Relax and allow God to speak to you in the way that He wants.

2:50Let your thoughts go, and allow your awareness to rest in this moment.

3:10If your thoughts wander off, that's okay.

3:17It's natural for the thoughts to drift.

3:30As best you can, leave those thoughts right where they are, and come back to that feeling of your body.

3:50Our feelings and emotions can distract us from the natural calm of God's love.

4:03There isn't anything to discover.

4:07It's always been there.

4:16This is a safe place.

4:20God loves you.

4:34Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

4:50Feel the body rise with each inhale, and then allow your awareness to rest in a little more with each exhale.

5:22Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

5:41Begin to notice the space around the body.

5:55Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

6:11When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

6:26Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

6:37Let go of your stress.

6:42Let go of your anxiety.

6:48You are exactly where you're meant to be.

7:01Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

7:22Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

7:43You are accepted here.

7:47You are loved.

8:02Take this verse with you.

8:07God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

8:28Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of the body.

8:34Notice the weight of the body on the chair, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open and take a nice deep breath.

8:48Notice how your breath changes the way you feel.

8:53I hope you feel a little more in touch with God.

8:59We'll see you again next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
