0:00Stepping away from busyness and constant stimulation can feel somewhat like a physical withdrawal.

0:09It can also create impatience with the process.

0:14By meditating, you'll eventually break this unhealthy addiction to busyness.

0:20You will find peace and tranquility.

0:25Take that with you as you begin this meditation.

0:31Okay.

0:32Let's go ahead and get started by getting comfortable in your chair.

0:39And when you're ready, take a few nice, deep breaths and allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:55Now, take a moment to consider this verse.

1:01"Keep on seeking, and you will find.

1:07Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." And again.

1:22"Keep on seeking, and you will find.

1:28Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." Bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

2:00Not engaging with your feelings, just noticing them.

2:15Almost like you're observing your emotions, and then letting them go.

2:27Just like loosening your grip, you're letting go of those feelings.

2:45Let God handle whatever is out of your control.

2:59This is a place of acceptance and safety.

3:07You can always find rest in God.

3:18Now, begin to notice how your body feels.

3:28When it feels comfortable, begin to consciously relax the body.

3:42Scanning down from your head to your toes, release any areas of tension in the body.

4:02Surrender all of your stress and all of your responsibilities, and just let your mind rest.

4:27You are safe.

4:30God is looking out for you.

4:49Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.

4:57Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

5:11Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.

5:31Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly.

5:40And then exhale, controlling the breath.

5:59Allow yourself to be here in this moment.

6:10This is all that matters, right now.

6:18Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.

6:26Release it to God.

6:40Today is a new day, with new opportunities.

6:49Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your creator, who loves you.

7:06Deep breath, in through the nose, and out through the mouth.

7:27Remember, this is a place of love.

7:33Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.

7:39God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

7:57Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.

8:16Take this verse with you.

8:20Keep on seeking, and you will find.

8:26Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

8:43Gently bring your awareness back to the body.

8:49And when you feel ready, slowly open your eyes and take a nice deep breath.

8:59Sit back and relax for a moment.

9:03How do you feel?

9:07I hope you feel a little better.

9:10We'll see you next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
