0:01Let's start by taking a few nice, deep breaths.
0:12And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close, like the sun sets.
0:26As your breath begins to relax your body, allow your awareness to rest with this verse and prayer: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you.
0:46I do not give to you as the world gives.
0:51Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid.
1:05And again, peace I leave with you, my peace I give you.
1:14I do not give to you as the world gives.
1:19Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid.
1:35When it feels natural, begin releasing the tension in your hands, shoulders, and neck.
1:55Let go of that stress.
2:04Release your anxieties and worries to God.
2:17Let go of your grip on control.
2:32Take a big, deep breath in.
2:44Release your stress.
2:50Let go of your frustrations.
3:00Let it all go on the exhale.
3:13We aren't holding onto the thoughts.
3:17We're just letting them release.
3:36Now bring your awareness to the way the body feels.
3:55Allow yourself to sink into your chair or your bed.
4:05Let the body relax and release.
4:22When it feels comfortable, bring your attention to the heart.
4:34Feel the heart beat.
4:43Just noticing it.
4:57Allow that natural rhythm and stillness to relax the body.
5:16Just notice the way that you feel.
5:23Not trying to change it.
5:27Just accepting it the way that it is.
5:52Bring your attention to the way the breath feels.
5:59Let it settle into a natural rhythm.
6:12Effortless and natural.
6:23Notice how good it feels to just breathe.
6:47With each exhale, let the body feel heavier and heavier.
7:08Begin to allow the muscles to release and unlock.
7:22Feel the effects of gravity on the body, letting gravity pull the body down into the bed or the chair.
7:47Now, gently bring your attention to your feelings or emotions.
8:06Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today, not engaging with those emotions, remembering that we can leave those feelings right where they are.
8:43The day is done.
8:47Allow God to handle what you cannot.
9:05The thoughts may begin to bubble up, and that's okay.
9:14Just notice the thoughts and then let them be.
9:34Rest into that deeper sense of calm that can only be found in God's love.
9:52You're inviting God to bring calm over your body, to bring peace into your spirit.
10:14Resting into your true nature, a child of God.
10:35Take this verse with you.
10:38"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you.
10:47I do not give to you as the world gives.
10:51Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid." God, I know you're always with me.
11:13Thank you for all of your blessings.
11:18Help me to relax and let go in your presence.
11:25I trust your plan for my life.
