0:01Let's start by taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:12And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close, like the sun sets.

0:26As your breath begins to relax your body, allow your awareness to rest with this verse and prayer, "Look, I stand at the door and knock.

0:45If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and we will share a meal together as friends." And again," Look, I stand at the door

1:07and knock.

1:08If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and we will share a meal together as friends." Now, slowly begin to relax and allow the

1:33body to open.

1:52Consciously, start to relax and turn off the muscles.

2:09Start with the muscles in the feet.

2:14Allow the feet to turn out and relax at the ankles, letting the hips soften.

2:38The knees are relaxing.

2:52The stomach begins to let go.

3:01Softening the shoulders.

3:09Allowing the head to relax and become heavy at the neck.

3:29Allow the chest and back to open.

3:38Allow the body to settle.

4:03Just noticing how the body feels.

4:27Feeling the gravity of the body and how it pushes you down into the bed.

4:59And when it feels comfortable, allow your awareness to rest.

5:13If the mind wants to think, then let it think.

5:20If it wants to be still, allow it to be still.

6:04Gently bring the awareness to the breath.

6:12Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

6:31Take a nice big deep breath in.

6:37Now, slow down on the exhale, letting go.

6:46Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly.

6:54And exhale, controlling the breath, slowing it down.

7:16Give yourself some space, just to be.

7:35Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.

7:41Release it to God.

7:44Allow this time to be what you need it to be.

8:04And if the thoughts take you away, know that that's okay.

8:13When it feels natural and effortless, slowly bring your attention back to the breath.

8:43Remember, this is a place of safety.

8:52God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

9:11Release your anxieties and let God handle what you cannot.

9:28Notice how the body is relaxing and releasing.

9:49Let your mind rest.

9:58Just noticing and appreciating this moment.

10:19Take this verse with you.

10:22"I stand at the door and knock.

10:25If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and we will share a meal together as friends." God, I know you're always with me.

10:50Thank you for all of your blessings.
