0:01Let's go ahead and get comfortable in your bed or in your chair.
0:09And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.
0:20Take a moment to consider this verse and prayer.
0:27"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." And again...
0:49"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Now, bring your awareness
1:16to the space around the body.
1:27Notice any sensations on the skin.
1:39Feel the clothes on the skin.
1:46Feel the temperature of the room.
2:09Listen to the sounds in the room with a nice, easy focus.
2:39Begin to gently notice the breath.
2:53Notice the rise and the fall of the breath.
3:04The air moving in and the air moving out.
3:18Without even having to think about it, it just happens, the breath breathes itself.
3:47Follow the breath in through the nostrils and into the chest and the abdomen.
4:00Follow the breath back out.
4:17Feel the inhale and relax.
4:24Allow the exhale and let go.
4:45This is a safe place.
4:49There's no need to rush.
4:54God is watching over you and He loves you.
5:04There's no goal.
5:07There's no destination.
5:27Allow your awareness to rest with the presence of God.
6:04When it feels natural, begin releasing the tension in your hands, shoulders, and neck.
6:22Let go of that stress.
6:32Release your anxieties and worries to God.
6:45Let go of your grip on control.
7:00Take a big, deep breath in.
7:12Release your stress.
7:18Let go of your frustrations.
7:28Let it all go on the exhale.
7:41We aren't holding onto the thoughts, we're just letting them release.
8:04Now bring your awareness to the way the body feels.
8:22Allow yourself to sink into your chair or your bed.
8:32Let the body relax and release.
8:50When it feels comfortable, bring your attention to the heart.
9:02Feel the heart beat.
9:10Just noticing it.
9:25Allow that natural rhythm and stillness to relax the body.
9:44Just notice the way that you feel.
9:51Not trying to change it.
9:54Just accepting it the way that it is.
10:12Take this verse with you.
10:16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life." God, I know you're
10:42always with me.
10:46Thank you for all of your blessings.
10:51Help me to relax and let go in your presence.
10:58I trust your plan for my life.
