0:01Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.
0:10And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.
0:23Bring your awareness to rest with this verse and prayer, "The Lord created you." And again, "The Lord created you." Bring your attention to the heartbeat.
1:07Allow its rhythm to relax your body, letting the arms and legs become heavy.
1:36Now bring your awareness to the top of the head.
1:42Allow the head to soften all the way down the face, softening the skin on the face and the eyes.
2:22Soften the throat and the back of the neck.
2:45Soften the collarbone, the shoulders, and the arms, releasing the elbows.
3:25Let the wrists and the hands relax, softening the chest and the stomach, releasing the hips and the thighs, the knees.
4:19Relax the calves down to the ankles.
4:41Now bring your attention to the breath, just noticing the inhale and the exhale, taking some nice, slow, deep, full breaths.
5:34In through the nose and letting go out through the mouth.
6:04Deep breath in, and feel the body expand.
6:13And slowly exhaling, letting all the air out of the lungs.
6:32Let the breath be natural.
6:36Let the breath naturally relax the body.
6:55Feel the stomach and the chest rise with each inhale.
7:05And feel the body relax with each exhale.
7:43Feel the weight of the body in the bed or the chair.
8:22Allow the forehead to relax and the jaw to fall away from the face.
8:46Just relaxing and releasing.
9:11Now, let go of the breath.
9:17Let it find a nice, natural, effortless rhythm.
9:25Simply let go.
9:42Take this verse with you, "The Lord created you." God, I know you're always with me.
10:06Thank you for all of Your blessings.
10:11Help me to relax and let go in Your presence.
10:18I trust Your plan for my life.
