0:01Go ahead and get comfortable in your position, really allowing the body to relax.
0:16And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.
0:29Let your mind rest with this verse and prayer, "He calms the storm and stills the waves." And again, "He calms the storm and stills the waves." With an easy
1:10awareness, begin to bring your attention to the space in the room, not examining it, just sensing it.
1:37Notice your place in the room, just observing.
2:02Listen to the sounds in the room.
2:08Maybe it's a quiet room, or maybe it's not.
2:14Both are okay.
2:33You're just listening and enjoying the sounds, not wishing to change or get rid of the sounds, just accepting them.
3:05When it feels natural, slowly bring your awareness back to the body, noticing the weight of the body.
3:39Allow the body to relax as it becomes heavier.
4:11Allow yourself to leave the day behind.
4:19Let go of the stress, being mindful to stay present in this moment.
4:35Let yourself unwind and naturally relax in the presence of God.
5:09Now bring your awareness to the feeling of the body.
5:17Maybe there's some muscle tightness or stress lingering in the body.
5:25Slowly begin to let those muscles relax and release.
5:47Give yourself permission to let go of today.
5:55What is done is done.
6:01All you have is this moment.
6:27Take a few nice, deep breaths.
6:39Allow your breathing to relax the mind.
6:49Feel the body become heavier.
7:10Sinking into your bed, letting go of all that stress in the body and the mind.
7:42Inhale, feel the chest rise.
7:49And exhale, feel the chest fall.
8:06Let the breath find a natural rhythm.
8:27Begin to notice the sounds in the room.
8:35Not resisting the sounds, just accepting them as they are.
8:43You're just the observer.
9:06If the thoughts take you away, remember, that's okay.
9:13There's no way to do this wrong.
9:34As your awareness begins to drift deeper, rest into the calm that only comes from the presence of a loving God.
10:02Take this verse with you, "He calms the storm and stills the waves." God, I know you're always with me.
10:30Thank you for all of your blessings.
10:35Help me to relax and let go in your presence.
10:42I trust your plan for my life.
