0:01Let's begin by consciously turning off the body.

0:10And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close, like the sun sets.

0:22Calmly, bring your awareness to rest with this verse and prayer.

0:33"He himself has now been through suffering and temptation.

0:39He knows what it is like when we suffer and are tempted." And again, "He himself has now been through suffering and temptation.

1:00He knows what it is like when we suffer and are tempted." Bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you in the body, not placing judgment on the

1:28feelings or engaging with them, just noticing them.

1:39Taking note of the emotions and then letting them go.

1:55Begin to notice that deeper sense of calm beneath those emotions.

2:16Maybe even begin to visualize a place that feels safe, a place where you feel loved and taken care of.

2:37This is a place of safety and acceptance.

2:49God loves you and wants you to feel loved.

2:56He wants you to feel a sense of security in him.

3:16In this place of safety, begin to notice how your body feels.

3:30Consciously relaxing the body and allowing God's presence to calm your mind.

3:53For a moment or two, relax and notice how you feel in this place.

4:12If the mind wanders off, that's okay.

4:18When it feels natural, bring your awareness back to this place of love and safety.

4:39Surrendering all of your worried thoughts, your stresses, and maybe even your responsibilities.

4:52Just relaxing and releasing, letting go.

5:18And now, let your mind go where it wants to go.

5:56Take a few nice, big, deep breaths in.

6:18Notice how good it feels just to be here in this moment.

6:37Allow your body and mind to relax.

6:59Nothing else matters right now.

7:04There is nowhere to go, there is nothing to do.

7:11Here you are.

7:42Allow your body to relax and feel the calm of God's presence.

8:26The thoughts may take you away, and that's okay.

8:32Don't resist the thoughts.

8:36Don't force them back.

8:39Be friendly with your thoughts.

8:45When it feels natural, come back to the feeling of relaxation in the body.

9:25Now, without changing the breath, notice the quiet sound of your breathing.

9:57Effortlessly, rest into the arms of God.

10:17Take this verse with you, "He himself has now been through suffering and temptation.

10:28He knows what it is like when we suffer and are tempted." God, I know you're always with me.

10:50Thank you for all of your blessings.

10:55Help me to relax and let go in your presence.

11:02I trust your plan for my life.
