0:01Let's begin by consciously turning off the body.
0:10And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close, like the sun sets.
0:22Calmly, bring your awareness to rest with this verse and prayer.
0:31"All at once, you turned on a floodlight for me.
0:37You are the revelation light in my darkness, and in your brightness, I can see the path ahead." And again, "All at once, you turned on a floodlight for me.
1:01You are the revelation light in my darkness, and in your brightness, I can see the path ahead." Now bring your attention to the breath, taking some nice, slow, deep,
1:34full breaths.
1:45In through the nose and letting go out through the mouth.
2:15Deep breath in, and feel the body expand.
2:24And slowly exhaling, letting all the air out of the lungs.
2:37Let the breath be natural.
2:41Let the breath naturally relax the body.
3:00Feel the stomach and the chest rise with each inhale.
3:10And feel the body relax with each exhale.
3:48Feel the weight of the body in the bed or the chair.
4:02As you breathe, allow the face to soften and let go.
4:20Allow the forehead to relax and the jaw to fall away from the face.
4:45Just relaxing and releasing.
5:10Now, let go of the breath.
5:16Let it find a nice, natural, effortless rhythm.
5:45Notice how good it feels just to be here in this moment.
6:03Take a few nice big, deep breaths in.
6:25Allow your body and mind to relax.
6:56Nothing else matters right now.
7:00There is nowhere to go, there is nothing to do.
7:08Here you are.
7:36Allow your body to relax and feel the calm of God's presence.
8:17The thoughts may take you away, and that's okay.
8:23Don't resist the thoughts.
8:26Don't force them back.
8:29Be friendly with your thoughts.
8:35When it feels natural, come back to the feeling of relaxation in the body.
9:14Now, without changing the breath, notice the quiet sound of your breathing.
9:49Effortlessly rest into the arms of God.
10:10Take this verse with you.
10:13"All at once, you turned on a floodlight for me.
10:19You are the revelation light in my darkness, and in your brightness, I can see the path ahead." God, I know you're always with me.
10:46Thank you for all of your blessings.
10:51Help me to relax and let go in your presence.
10:58I trust your plan for my life.
