0:00Many of us grew up with the idea that God was sitting in heaven, writing down every bad thing that we ever did.

0:10But what God tells us He actually does is not writing, but erasing.

0:17As soon as we can add another item to our list of wrongs, God is erasing it.

0:24This is because God is love, and love keeps no record of wrongs.

0:33Go ahead and get comfortable in your position, really allowing the body to relax.

0:45And when you feel ready, let your eyes slowly close.

0:56Now, take a moment to consider this verse: "Farther than from a sunrise to a sunset, that's how far you've removed our guilt from us, the same way a loving

1:13father feels toward his children." And again, "Farther than from a sunrise to a sunset, that's how far you've removed our guilt from us, the same way a loving father

1:38feels toward his children." Now, bring your attention to the way it feels when you breathe.

2:12Feel the stomach and the chest rise with each inhale.

2:22And feel the body relax with each exhale.

2:42In through the nose.

2:45Feel the body expand, and then slowly exhale.

3:08Let the breath be natural.

3:12Let the breath naturally relax the body.

3:30Allow the face and the neck to soften.

3:47Allow the forehead to relax and the shoulders to fall away from the ears.

4:04Relax the body, and allow the chair to hold the body up.

4:21Just relaxing and letting the body unwind.

4:37Simply let go.

4:57Now, bring your awareness to the feeling of the body.

5:15Maybe there's some muscle tightness or stress lingering in the body.

5:35Slowly bring your attention to those areas of tightness and relax them piece by piece.

6:01Feel the weight of your body in the chair.

6:17As your body begins to relax, allow your mind to let go.

6:29Give yourself permission to start fresh.

6:47What is done, is done.

6:51All you have is this moment.

7:07This is a safe place.

7:11Release your thoughts to God.

7:27When it feels comfortable, take a few nice, deep breaths.

7:48There's no way to do this wrong.

7:57If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.

8:03When it feels comfortable, bring your awareness back to the feeling of the breath.

8:25Take this verse with you.

8:29"Farther than from a sunrise to a sunset, that's how far you've removed our guilt from us.

8:38The same way a loving father feels toward his children." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of the body.

9:00Notice the weight of the body on the chair.

9:04And when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open and take a nice deep breath.

9:14Notice how your breath changes the way you feel.

9:19I hope you feel a little more in touch with God.

9:25We'll see you again next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
