0:00Jesus took the time to be alone every day to reconnect with God.

0:06Just like Jesus, we have to make time to reconnect.

0:11Rest with God to find that peace and connection that your heart truly desires.

0:21Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.

0:29And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.

0:40Take a moment to consider this verse: For with you is the fountain of life.

0:50In your light we see light.

1:01And again, for with you is the fountain of life.

1:07In your light we see light.

1:26Now, slowly begin to take some deep breaths, allowing the body to open.

1:41Let the breath relax any areas of tightness in the body.

1:55Consciously, start to turn the muscles off.

2:04Start with the muscles in the feet and the legs.

2:11Allow the feet to be heavy on the floor.

2:19Allow the chest and the back to open so the breathing can become deep and natural.

2:36Soften the shoulders.

2:39Allow them to fall away from the ears.

2:49Let the head fall and become heavy at the neck.

3:01Feel the weight of the body and how it pushes you down into the chair.

3:19When it feels comfortable, bring your awareness to the sound of your breath.

3:30Not changing anything about the breath, just noticing it.

3:43Listening to the gentle rhythm of the inhales and exhales.

3:56Filling the body up with fresh air and then slowly exhaling and letting go.

4:13Let your mind be still.

4:28Now, take a moment to be grateful for this opportunity to relax.

4:47Notice how good it feels just to be here in this moment.

5:07When it feels natural, begin to deepen the breath.

5:24Let go of your worries and focus your attention on the breath.

5:40Nothing else matters right now.

5:45You are here.

5:48There's nothing to do but relax.

6:03Allow your body to honor the natural calm given by God's presence.

6:15Just listening to the breath, noticing the rise and the fall of the chest.

6:28Deep breath in, expanding the body, and then exhale, letting your awareness rest.

6:53Take another deep breath as you feel your lungs expand.

7:03And exhale, following the air back out through the mouth.

7:16The thoughts may take you away, and that's okay.

7:33With each breath, effortlessly rest into the arms of God.

7:55Take this verse with you, for with you is the fountain of life.

8:04In your light, we see light.

8:20Slowly bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open.

8:33Take a moment to notice how your body feels.

8:40I hope you feel a little better.

8:44We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.

8:50Remember, be easy with yourself.
