0:00We were made for a better place.
0:04Like a fish is made for water, we were made to live forever with God.
0:12Whatever is going on in your life, remember that something better lies ahead, and it will be wonderful.
0:24Okay.
0:25Let's begin by consciously relaxing the body.
0:32And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.
0:42As your body begins to settle, take a moment to consider this verse: I am still confident in this, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land
0:59of the living.
1:07And again, I am still confident in this, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
1:33In your own time, take a few nice deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
1:53Allow the body to let go a little bit more with each exhale.
2:07Feel the face and the neck softening as your body begins to relax.
2:22Notice how your breath softens and relaxes the body.
2:37Come to that sense of weight in the body, allowing the chair to hold the body up.
2:55Relax the arms all the way down to the hands.
3:03Allow the legs to become heavy, relaxing all the way down to the toes.
3:19Feel the muscles softening.
3:31Allow the natural rhythm of the breath to relax the body.
3:43Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.
3:56Just noticing how good it feels just to breathe.
4:15And now, for a moment or two, let your awareness be free.
4:23Let it rest.
4:37Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.
4:53Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.
5:19Notice how good it feels just to breathe.
5:35With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.
5:46With each exhale, release and let your body relax.
6:06Feel your feet on the floor and the weight of your body in the chair.
6:24Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.
6:35Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.
6:49Not engaging with the emotions.
6:53Just noticing them as an observer.
7:06Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.
7:17Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.
7:37Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.
7:46God is working in your life.
8:03Take this verse with you, "I'm still confident in this, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." When you feel ready, slowly bring
8:32your awareness back to the breath and allow your eyes to open.
8:39Take a few deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
8:50Notice how you feel.
8:55I hope you feel a little more relaxed.
8:59We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
