0:00Don't let disappointments and bad days get the best of you.

0:06Cling to the things that God has told you.

0:10Keep these truths close to your heart.

0:14You are loved.

0:16Your life has a purpose.

0:19God is always with you.

0:24Okay, let's go ahead and get started by taking a moment to notice your breath, just the rise and the fall of the chest.

0:45And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

0:56Now, take a moment to consider this verse: I have set the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

1:19And again: I have set the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

1:46And now, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

1:54Allow its rhythm to relax the body.

2:06As you begin to relax, bring your attention to the weight of the body.

2:23Allow the arms and the legs to become heavy.

2:32Allow the face to soften, all the way down through the neck.

2:43Soften the skin.

2:50Allow the corners of the eyes to relax.

3:00Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.

3:10Release the elbows.

3:20Let the wrists and the hands relax.

3:31Soften the chest and the stomach.

3:41Release the hips and the thighs.

3:54Relax the calves, all the way down to the ankles.

4:06Allow the entire body to let go and totally relax.

4:26There's nowhere to go.

4:29You are exactly where you're supposed to be.

4:50Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.

5:01Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.

5:21Notice how good it feels just to breathe.

5:38With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.

5:48With each exhale, release and let your body relax.

6:06Feel your feet on the floor and the weight of your body in the chair.

6:23Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.

6:34Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.

6:52Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them as an observer.

7:15Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.

7:31Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.

7:50Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.

7:59God is working in your life.

8:15Take this verse with you: "I have set the Lord always before me.

8:24Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of the body.

8:47Notice the weight of the body on the chair, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open and take a nice deep breath.

9:02Notice how your breath changes the way you feel.

9:07I hope you feel a little more in touch with God.

9:13We'll see you again next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
