0:00If God is our Father, then we are all connected.
0:05If God is our Father, then the world is not a collection of unrelated, unconnected individuals, but a family of brothers and sisters.
0:17You are a child of God, and a part of God's family.
0:25Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.
0:34And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.
0:44Take a moment to consider this verse: "I will live in them and walk among them.
0:56I will be their God and they will be my people." And again, "I will live in them and walk among them.
1:17I will be their God and they will be my people." Now begin to soften the body, and pay attention to the breath.
1:50Now take a deep breath until the air reaches the top of the chest, and then slowly exhale.
2:14And again, let your inhale be slow and expansive.
2:25And then exhale, following the breath back out.
2:42Allow your breath to settle and become natural.
2:58Bring your attention to any sounds in the room.
3:08Maybe the room is quiet, or maybe it's not.
3:17Both are okay.
3:24Just notice the sounds and accept them as they are.
3:40You're right where you need to be.
3:54In this moment, everything is okay.
3:59God loves you.
4:12This is a place of rest and safety.
4:25Simply let go.
4:39Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.
4:55Feel the body rise with each inhale.
5:03And then allow your awareness to rest in a little more with each exhale.
5:27Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.
5:44Begin to notice the space around the body.
5:55Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.
6:15When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.
6:28Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.
6:39Let go of your stress.
6:42Let go of your anxiety.
6:47You are exactly where you're meant to be.
7:01Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.
7:18Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.
7:48You are accepted here.
7:51You are loved.
8:06Take this verse with you, "I will live in them and walk among them.
8:16I will be their God, and they will be my people." Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body, maybe even move your fingers and toes a little
8:43bit.
8:44When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.
8:51Take another big, deep breath in, and let it out with a sigh.
8:58Notice how you feel.
9:01I hope you feel a little more relaxed.
9:04We'll see you again tomorrow with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
