0:00There are always things to enjoy and to give thanks for.

0:05Maybe it's a cup of coffee, maybe it's a breeze, a sunset, a back porch swing, or connecting with an old friend.

0:17Life does not have to be complicated to be enjoyable.

0:25When you feel ready, go ahead and get comfortable in your position, really allowing the body to relax.

0:40And when you're ready, let your eyes slowly close.

0:49Take a moment to consider this verse: The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd.

1:00I always have more than enough.

1:09And again, the Lord is my best friend and my shepherd.

1:15I always have more than enough.

1:34Bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

1:47Not engaging with your feelings, just noticing them.

2:02Almost like you're observing your emotions, and then letting them go.

2:14Just like loosening your grip, you're letting go of those feelings.

2:33Let God handle whatever is out of your control.

2:46This is a place of acceptance and safety.

2:54You can always find rest in God.

3:05Now, begin to notice how your body feels.

3:15When it feels comfortable, begin to consciously relax the body.

3:29Scanning down from your head to your toes, release any areas of tension in the body.

3:49Surrender all of your stress, and all of your responsibilities, and just let your mind rest.

4:14You are safe.

4:17God is looking out for you.

4:33Now, bring your attention to your breath, just a soft, easy awareness.

4:55Notice what it feels like as air passes in through the nose, and then back out through the mouth.

5:16Let the breath bring life to your body.

5:33Begin to listen to the sound of your breath, listening to the inhale and the exhale.

6:02On the next exhale, allow the breath to relax and become natural.

6:31Allow your breath to bring renewal to your body.

6:42You're making space to notice God's presence in your life.

6:58When it feels comfortable, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

7:13Allow that rhythm and stillness to enter every part of your body.

7:37Feel the presence of God in this space.

7:45Let go of control, and rest into the arms of God.

8:03Take this verse with you, "The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd.

8:12I always have more than enough." Softly, begin to bring your awareness back to the body, back to that feeling of weight in the body.

8:38And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take a big, deep breath in.

8:47Take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

8:53I hope you feel a little more present.

8:57We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.

9:02Take care.
