0:00Past hurts have a way of sneaking into our present.

0:05The past is heavy, so let go of it.

0:09God wants you to live in the present moment.

0:13He wants you to live in His love so that He can heal you.

0:19New life lies ahead.

0:22God has a plan for your life.

0:28Okay, let's go ahead and get started by taking a moment to notice your breath.

0:40Just the rise and the fall of the chest.

0:48And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

0:59Now take a moment to consider this verse: He heals the wounds of every shattered heart.

1:17And again, He heals the wounds of every shattered heart.

1:39Now, consciously begin to relax your muscles.

1:52Feel the weight of gravity on your body as the chair holds you up.

2:11Begin to notice how the body feels.

2:27Just scanning the body from the head down to the toes.

2:40Consciously relaxing any areas of tightness or tension.

2:54Take a few big, deep breaths in.

3:04Notice how the breath changes the body.

3:15Just relaxing and releasing, allowing your body to totally let go.

3:33If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.

3:39Thoughts are a normal part of meditation.

3:44You aren't holding onto the thoughts or the feelings, you're just allowing them to bubble up and out.

3:59You're releasing those thoughts to God.

4:14Now, for a moment or two, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

4:41Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.

4:55Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.

5:16Notice how good it feels just to breathe.

5:32With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.

5:42With each exhale, release and let your body relax.

6:09Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.

6:24Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.

6:44Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them as an observer.

7:07Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.

7:20Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.

7:44Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.

7:52God is working in your life.

8:09Take this verse with you: He heals the wounds of every shattered heart.

8:30When it feels natural, bring your awareness back to the room.

8:37Just noticing the room with a gentle appreciation.

8:44And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly open.

8:50Take a moment to notice how you feel.

8:54I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

8:57We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
