0:00Your past does not determine your future.

0:04You are not your past.

0:07God is a god of the present.

0:11With God, all things are new, including you.

0:19Okay.

0:20Let's begin by getting comfortable.

0:26Take a few nice, big, deep breaths.

0:33And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:44Take a moment to consider this verse.

0:50This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.

0:57The old life is gone.

0:59A new life has begun.

1:10And again, this means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.

1:18The old life is gone.

1:21A new life has begun.

1:38When it feels comfortable, go ahead and take a few deep breaths in.

1:50Nice and easy.

1:59Let the breaths settle and become natural, and bring your attention to the space in the room.

2:12Not thinking too hard about it, just becoming aware of your body and your surroundings.

2:31Notice the air on the skin.

2:39Feel the chair beneath you.

2:49Pay attention to the position of your body.

2:53Make sure that you're comfortable.

3:07Notice the state of your mind.

3:13Does the mind feel calm?

3:16Does it feel restless?

3:19Both are okay.

3:28Just a simple, easy noticing.

3:41Just noticing the space, almost like you're an observer.

3:55Notice the gentle sound of your breath coming in and going out.

4:08Deepening the inhales and extending the exhales, letting the body rest.

4:29Just relax.

4:46Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.

4:54Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

5:10Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.

5:28Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly.

5:36And then exhale, controlling the breath.

5:53Allow yourself to be here in this moment.

6:01This is all that matters right now.

6:07Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.

6:14Release it to God.

6:25Today is a new day, with new opportunities.

6:43Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your creator, who loves you.

7:02Deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

7:19Remember, this is a place of love.

7:25Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.

7:31God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

7:49Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.

8:09Take this verse with you.

8:12"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.

8:19The old life is gone.

8:22A new life has begun." Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body.

8:44Maybe even move your fingers and toes a little bit.

8:49When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.

8:56Take another big, deep breath in, and let it out with a sigh.

9:03Notice how you feel.

9:05I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:08We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
