0:00In meditation and prayer, we have a unique opportunity to absorb the Bible in a way that we can't otherwise.

0:09We get the chance to make it a part of our perspective and our heart.

0:14In a truly effortless and easy way, it changes from something we know into something that we are.

0:24Feeling God's presence in our lives becomes easier, because we become more aware of His touch.

0:33Let yourself rest on that today.

0:36God is with you, and He loves you.

0:42Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.

0:51And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.

1:01Take a moment to consider this verse, "For He alone is my safe place.

1:11His wraparound presence always protects me." And again, "For He alone is my safe place.

1:29His wraparound presence always protects me." As you relax, allow God's presence of peace to wash over you.

2:06Let your breath fill your body and relax your muscles.

2:22As your breath relaxes your body, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

2:41Just noticing the quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.

2:54Allow that rhythm and stillness to calm your mind, to relax your body.

3:14Let go of any feelings of stress or worry.

3:30God is taking care of you.

3:44Allow those feelings to go.

3:52You are safe here.

4:04And if thoughts take you away, that's okay.

4:10Be easy with the thoughts.

4:15Just remember, you can always come back to the breath and the heartbeat.

4:33Let yourself relax, and allow God to speak to your heart.

4:55Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the space around the room.

5:12Just noticing the sounds in the room, and the sensations on the body.

5:23Welcome these sensations as part of the practice.

5:47When it feels comfortable, take some nice, deep breaths.

6:01Real easy, deep breaths.

6:22Now, begin to slow down the inhale.

6:32Long, slow, deep inhalation, and then let the breath out and relax.

6:49Again, take another long, slow, deep breath in, filling up the body, and then let the exhale come naturally.

7:13With each breath, let your mind relax.

7:31Allow your feelings to release and become a prayer to God.

7:50Now, for a few moments, let go of the focused attention and let your awareness rest.

8:02You are loved.

8:18Take this verse with you.

8:21"For He alone is my safe place.

8:27His wraparound presence always protects me." Slowly bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open.

8:57Take a moment to notice how your body feels.

9:04I hope you feel a little better.

9:08We'll see you again tomorrow with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.

9:14Remember, be easy with yourself.
