0:00Sometimes when we're meditating, we realize that, all of a sudden, we haven't been present.

0:07And from there, the mind can go all kinds of places.

0:12It's important to remember that this is a natural part of meditation.

0:17When the mind wanders, just accept it, and bring yourself back to the path, just peacefully existing and knowing this is all part of the process.

0:31In life and in meditation, give yourself space.

0:38Let's go ahead and get started by gently bringing your attention to the breath.

0:47Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

0:55And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

1:07Take a moment to consider this verse: With all your heart, rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make.

1:30And again, with all your heart, rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make.

1:56When it feels comfortable, go ahead and take a few deep breaths in.

2:07Nice and easy.

2:16Let the breaths settle and become natural, and bring your attention to the space in the room, not thinking too hard about it, just becoming aware of your body and

2:37your surroundings.

2:48Notice the air on the skin.

2:56Feel the chair beneath you.

3:06Pay attention to the position of your body.

3:11Make sure that you're comfortable.

3:24Notice the state of your mind.

3:30Does the mind feel calm?

3:33Does it feel restless?

3:37Both are okay.

3:45Just a simple, easy noticing.

3:58Just noticing the space, almost like you're an observer.

4:12Notice the gentle sound of your breath coming in and going out, deepening the inhales and extending the exhales, letting the body rest.

4:47Just relax.

5:04Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the space around the room.

5:24Just noticing the sounds in the room and the sensations on the body.

5:39Welcome these sensations as part of the practice.

6:02When it feels comfortable, take some nice deep breaths.

6:18Real easy, deep breaths.

6:36Now begin to slow down the inhale.

6:45Long, slow, deep inhalation, and then let the breath out, and relax.

6:58Again, take another long, slow, deep breath in, filling up the body, and then let the exhale come naturally.

7:20With each breath, let your mind relax.

7:36Allow your feelings to release and become a prayer to God.

7:57Now, for a few moments, let go of the focused attention and let your awareness rest.

8:10You are loved.

8:26Take this verse with you.

8:31With all your heart, rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.

8:53When it feels natural, bring your awareness back to the room.

9:00Just noticing the room with a gentle appreciation.

9:07And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly open.

9:13Take a moment to notice how you feel.

9:17I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:20We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
