0:00Sometimes when we read the Bible, we find ourselves engaging our minds rather than our hearts.

0:10But today, as you listen to this verse, allow yourself to listen with your heart, instead of your head.

0:20Feel the verse.

0:22Allow the verse to rest with you.

0:26God's words are a love letter to your soul.

0:34Okay.

0:35Let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few deep breaths.

0:46As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:58Now take a moment to consider this verse, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." And again, "The heavens declare the glory

1:24of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." Let's begin to take note of how the body is feeling.

1:55Not really thinking too much about it, just letting go of those feelings of tightness and tension.

2:13When it feels comfortable, take a few deep breaths.

2:31In through the nose and out through the mouth.

2:45Deep breath in, expanding the body and filling the chest up.

2:54And exhale, feeling the chest fall and let go.

3:09Take another big, deep breath in, and control the exhale, letting it take twice as long as the inhale.

3:26With each breath, allow the tension to melt away from the body.

3:45Now, allow your breath to take up a natural rhythm.

3:55Let the gentle sound of your breathing relax your mind.

4:13There's no way to do this wrong, just an easy, effortless awareness.

4:28Letting go.

4:47Now bring your attention to the position of the body.

4:55Make sure you can breathe in an open and natural way.

5:13Allow the chest to open and take a few nice, deep breaths.

5:25Let the breath fill the body up with life.

5:41With each breath, you're bringing your awareness into this moment.

5:59Relax and allow God to speak to you in the way that He wants.

6:15Let your thoughts go, and allow your awareness to rest in this moment.

6:37If your thoughts wander off, that's okay.

6:43It's natural for the thoughts to drift.

7:03As best you can, leave those thoughts right where they are, and come back to that feeling of your body.

7:22Our feelings and emotions can distract us from the natural calm of God's love.

7:37There isn't anything to discover.

7:41It's always been there.

7:56This is a safe place.

7:59God loves you.

8:15Take this verse with you, "The heavens declare the glory of God.

8:23The skies proclaim the work of His hands." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.

8:45Listen to the sound of your breathing.

8:49And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

8:59Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.

9:04Remember to take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:11I hope you feel better.

9:14Take care.

9:16And we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
