0:00There's a difference between being alone and feeling lonely.
0:05The difference is whether you feel the presence and the love of others.
0:12Remember, God is always with you, and He loves you.
0:18You are never, ever truly alone.
0:23He wants you to know that deep in your heart so that you'll never be lonely again.
0:30Trust in the presence of God, and trust that you're loved.
0:39Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.
0:47And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.
0:58Take a moment to consider this verse: "Even to your old age and gray hairs, I am he who will sustain you." And again, "Even to your old age and
1:22gray hairs, I am he who will sustain you." In your own time, take a few nice, deep breaths.
1:52In through the nose, and out through the mouth.
2:03Allow the body to let go a little bit more with each exhale.
2:17Feel the face and the neck softening as your body begins to relax.
2:32Notice how your breath softens and relaxes the body.
2:46Come to that sense of weight in the body, allowing the chair to hold the body up.
3:05Relax the arms all the way down to the hands.
3:13Allow the legs to become heavy, relaxing all the way down to the toes.
3:29Feel the muscles softening.
3:40Allow the natural rhythm of the breath to relax the body.
3:53Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.
4:06Just noticing how good it feels just to breathe.
4:24And now, for a moment or two, let your awareness be free.
4:32Let it rest.
4:49As you relax, allow God's presence of peace to wash over you.
5:10Let your breath fill your body and relax your muscles.
5:28As your breath relaxes your body, bring your attention to the heartbeat.
5:49Just noticing the quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.
6:03Allow that rhythm and stillness to calm your mind, to relax your body.
6:25Let go of any feelings of stress or worry.
6:43God is taking care of you.
6:59Allow those feelings to go.
7:07You are safe here.
7:22And if thoughts take you away, that's okay.
7:28Be easy with the thoughts.
7:33Just remember, you can always come back to the breath and the heartbeat.
7:53Let yourself relax, and allow God to speak to your heart.
8:13Take this verse with you, "Even to your old age and gray hairs, I am he who will sustain you." Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body,
8:43maybe even move your fingers and toes a little bit.
8:48When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.
8:55Take another big, deep breath in, and let it out with a sigh.
9:02Notice how you feel.
9:04I hope you feel a little more relaxed.
9:07We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
