0:00When you view life as a journey, you can see setbacks as just part of a larger story.

0:11You're free to find joy in the journey itself, rather than the specifics of your current situation.

0:25Today, as you rest into this prayer, remind yourself that you're not stuck.

0:33You're growing and changing because you're on a journey.

0:42Let's start by taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:52As your breath begins to relax your body, allow your eyes to close, like the sun sets.

1:05Now take a moment to consider this verse; "For I know the plans I have for you.

1:16Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.

1:20Plans to give you hope and a future." And again, "For I know the plans I have for you.

1:39Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.

1:44Plans to give you hope and a future." Now, bring your awareness to the space around the body.

2:13Not really examining it, just noticing the space with an easy curiosity.

2:33Notice any sensations on the skin.

2:41Feel the clothes on the skin.

2:51Feel the temperature of the room.

2:59Listen to the sounds in the room.

3:08Just a nice, easy focus on the sounds in the room.

3:29Listen to the gentle sound of your breathing.

3:37Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

3:54Maybe the breath is shallow or maybe it's deep.

4:01Both are okay.

4:05Just follow the breath as it moves through your body.

4:21Let the rhythm of your breath relax your mind.

4:39This is a safe place.

4:44God is watching over you.

5:01Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

5:18Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.

5:47Now, take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.

6:14With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

6:34Now, begin to deepen the breath.

6:52Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.

7:12And then right back into the next inhale, slow it down and make it deep.

7:33And then exhale.

7:36Let the body relax.

7:51Now, allow your breath to settle and let your mind settle with it.

8:09Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.

8:31Take this verse with you.

8:34"For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." When it feels easy,

9:03bring your attention back to the feeling of the breath.

9:09Take a few more deep breaths and slowly allow your eyes to open.

9:18Notice how the breath changes the way you feel.

9:23I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:27We'll see you again tomorrow.

9:30Take care of yourself.
