0:01The events of your life are woven together like a tapestry.
0:09All of your hopes, desires, heartbreaks, and disappointments are woven together to create the story of you.
0:23Your perspective is like the side of the tapestry where all of the threads are seemingly disconnected.
0:32But God sees the other side of the tapestry, and at some point, you will too.
0:41God is taking all the parts of your life and is creating something beautiful.
0:54Today, as you meditate, remember that your life has a purpose, even if you can't see it all the time.
1:10Okay.
1:12Let's begin by taking a few seconds to consciously relax the body.
1:23And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.
1:33Now, take a moment to consider this verse.
1:38We are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God's perfect plan.
1:57And again, we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God's perfect plan.
2:22Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.
2:32Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.
2:50Notice how good it feels just to breathe.
3:06With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.
3:17With each exhale, release and let your body relax.
3:34Feel your feet on the floor and the weight of your body in the chair.
3:52Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.
4:02Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.
4:16Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them as an observer.
4:34Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.
4:45Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.
5:02Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.
5:10God is working in your life.
5:25With an easy awareness, bring your attention to the space in the room.
5:45Just noticing the space with an easy curiosity.
5:56Notice your place in the room.
6:14Feel the air on your skin.
6:26Listen to the sounds in the room.
6:33Maybe it's quiet in the room, maybe it's not.
6:38Both are okay.
6:49You're just listening and welcoming the sounds as part of the exercise, not wishing to change the sounds, just accepting the sounds as they are.
7:30When it feels natural, slowly bring your awareness to the breath.
7:47Allow your breath to be a reminder to stay in this present moment.
8:05If your mind begins to wander, you can always come back to the feeling of the breath.
8:27Relax and let your body honor the natural calm that only comes from the presence of a loving God.
8:52Take this verse with you, "We are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God's perfect plan." Allow your awareness to slowly come
9:22back to your body, and when it feels natural, begin to open your eyes.
9:32Sit back in your chair.
9:35Maybe you want to stretch a little bit.
9:38Do whatever feels good.
9:41Take a moment to notice how you feel.
9:47I hope you feel a little more relaxed.
9:50We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
