0:00You're moving closer to happiness when you let go of life as you expected it to be and when you accept life as it is.

0:15When you do this, your eyes will open to the blessings and opportunities that you had previously missed.

0:29Often, expectations are disappointments in waiting.

0:38Let go of your expectations.

0:41Accept life as it is.

0:50Remember, as long as happiness is somewhere else, it will never be where you are.

1:05Okay, let's go ahead and get started by taking a moment to notice your breath.

1:17Just the rise and the fall of the chest.

1:25And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

1:36Now, take a moment to consider this verse, "And the same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given

1:51to us in Christ Jesus." Again, "And the same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us

2:14in Christ Jesus." When it feels comfortable, go ahead and take a few deep breaths in.

2:39Nice and easy.

2:48Let the breath settle and become natural, and bring your attention to the space in the room.

3:02Not thinking too hard about it, just becoming aware of your body and your surroundings.

3:20Notice the air on the skin.

3:28Feel the chair beneath you.

3:38Pay attention to the position of your body.

3:43Make sure that you're comfortable.

3:56Notice the state of your mind.

4:02Does the mind feel calm?

4:05Does it feel restless?

4:09Both are okay.

4:17Just a simple, easy noticing.

4:30Just noticing the space, almost like you're an observer.

4:44Notice the gentle sound of your breath coming in and going out.

4:58Deepening the inhales and extending the exhales, letting the body rest.

5:19Just relax.

5:36Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the space around the room.

5:56Just noticing the sounds in the room and the sensations on the body.

6:11Welcome these sensations as part of the practice.

6:34When it feels comfortable, take some nice deep breaths.

6:50Real easy, deep breaths.

7:08Now begin to slow down the inhale.

7:16Long, slow, deep inhalation, and then let the breath out, and relax.

7:30Again, take another long, slow, deep breath in, filling up the body, and then let the exhale come naturally.

7:51With each breath, let your mind relax.

8:08Allow your feelings to release and become a prayer to God.

8:29Now, for a few moments, let go of the focused attention, and let your awareness rest.

8:42You are loved.

8:58Take this verse with you.

9:04"And the same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus." When it feels

9:28natural, bring your awareness back to the room, just noticing the room with a gentle appreciation.

9:41And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly open.

9:48Take a moment to notice how you feel.

9:52I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:55We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
