0:01Often, God's hand in your life is hidden, but you can see it when you look back on the circumstances of your life.

0:15These improbable connections and life paths almost always lead you somewhere you could have never imagined.

0:28God's fingerprints are on the improbable and the unlikely.

0:38When you look back, God's hand is very present and visible.

0:50Today as you meditate, rest in the knowledge that God is always at work in your life, even when you can't see it.

1:05Okay, let's begin by getting comfortable.

1:13Take a few nice big, deep breaths.

1:21And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:31Take a moment to consider this verse, "We know that in all things, God works for good with those who love Him, those whom He has called according to His

1:47purpose." And again, "We know that in all things, God works for good with those who love Him, those whom He has called according to His purpose." As you relax,

2:26allow God's presence of peace to wash over you.

2:42Let your breath fill your body and relax your muscles.

2:58As your breath relaxes your body, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

3:16Just noticing the quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.

3:30Allow that rhythm and stillness to calm your mind, to relax your body.

3:50Let go of any feelings of stress or worry.

4:06God is taking care of you.

4:20Allow those feelings to go.

4:28You are safe here.

4:40And if thoughts take you away, that's okay.

4:46Be easy with the thoughts.

4:50Just remember, you can always come back to the breath and the heartbeat.

5:09Let yourself relax and allow God to speak to your heart.

5:26When it feels comfortable, take a few nice deep breaths in, really making a point to expand the body and expand the chest.

5:56Notice how the breath makes you feel.

6:12Now, let the breath begin to settle.

6:25As your breath begins to settle, allow the body to become heavy.

6:42Notice any sensations in the body.

6:48See if you're holding on to any tension.

7:02Maybe the body's tight, or maybe it's not.

7:08Either is okay.

7:24You're just scanning the body, looking for any areas of tightness, and letting them release.

7:42And if the mind drifts away in thought, slowly bring it back to the feelings in the body, and the breath.

8:02Your body knows how to relax.

8:14You don't have to think about it for it to happen.

8:18You are simply uncovering the calm that was always present.

8:35Let your awareness rest in the arms of God.

8:54Take this verse with you.

8:58"We know that in all things, God works for good with those who love Him, those whom He has called according to His purpose." Slowly begin to bring your awareness

9:25back to the body, maybe even move your fingers and toes a little bit.

9:34When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.

9:41Take another big, deep breath in, and let it out with a sigh.

9:48Notice how you feel.

9:50I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:53We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
