0:01Jesus tells us that a sparrow doesn't fall without God knowing about it.

0:08The same is true for you.

0:12God knows your heart and your struggles.

0:21If you find yourself struggling with something, or feel like you're alone, take refuge in God's love.

0:33You can rest in God's promises.

0:41God is and will be with you always.

0:51Okay, let's go ahead and get started by getting comfortable in your chair.

1:01And when you're ready, take a few nice deep breaths, and allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:17As your body begins to settle, take a moment to consider this verse, "Lord, you know everything there is to know about me." And again, "Lord, you know everything there

1:44is to know about me." Now, consciously begin to relax your muscles.

2:12Feel the weight of gravity on your body as the chair holds you up.

2:31Begin to notice how the body feels.

2:46Just scanning the body from the head down to the toes.

3:00Consciously relaxing any areas of tightness or tension.

3:14Take a few big deep breaths in.

3:24Notice how the breath changes the body.

3:35Just relaxing and releasing, allowing your body to totally let go.

3:53If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.

3:59Thoughts are a normal part of meditation.

4:04You aren't holding on to the thoughts or the feelings, you're just allowing them to bubble up and out.

4:18You're releasing those thoughts to God.

4:34Now, for a moment or two, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

5:03Now, bring your attention to the way the breath feels, and take a few deep breaths.

5:22Gently expand the chest on the inhale, and then let the body soften on the exhale.

5:48With each breath, there's new life entering the body.

6:08As you breathe, begin to soften the body, starting at the top of the head.

6:25Allow the shoulders to fall away from the ears.

6:36Now, gently bring your awareness to the space around the body.

6:55Feel the air on the skin.

7:05Notice the temperature of the air.

7:25And now, gently move your awareness to the heartbeat.

7:43Allow the rhythm of the heartbeat to relax the body.

8:02Let your awareness rest deeper in the presence of God.

8:13Simply let go.

8:29Take this verse with you, "Lord, you know everything there is to know about me." Gently bring your awareness back to the body.

8:57And when you feel ready, slowly open your eyes and take a nice deep breath.

9:07Sit back and relax for a moment.

9:11How do you feel?

9:15I hope you feel a little better.

9:18We'll see you next time with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
