0:00Sometimes God's presence is easier to feel in the silence of meditation.

0:10But as you become accustomed to that feeling, you'll feel God's presence in more areas of your life.

0:20Today, as you go about your day, see if you can feel God's presence in your life.

0:34Let's go ahead and get started by gently bringing your attention to the breath.

0:43Notice the rise and the fall of the chest, and when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

1:02Take a moment to consider this verse, "Don't be afraid.

1:11I saved you.

1:13I named you.

1:15You are mine." And again, "Don't be afraid.

1:30I saved you.

1:33I named you.

1:35You are mine." Gradually, and with ease, bring your awareness to rest on your breath.

2:03Feel the body rise with each inhale, and then allow your awareness to rest in a little more with each exhale.

2:27Notice how with each breath, the body feels a little calmer.

2:45Begin to notice the space around the body.

2:55Feel the contact of the body on the chair, and your feet on the floor.

3:09When you feel comfortable, begin to scan the entire body to build up a picture of what the body feels like.

3:23Piece by piece, release any areas of tension.

3:33Let go of your stress.

3:36Let go of your anxiety.

3:42You are exactly where you're meant to be.

3:55Allow that natural rhythm of the breath to relax you.

4:12Let your breath guide you to a place of safety in the presence of God.

4:31You are accepted here.

4:35You are loved.

4:55Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

5:09Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.

5:37Now take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.

6:03With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

6:26Now, begin to deepen the breath.

6:37Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.

6:55And then right back into the next inhale, slow it down and make it deep.

7:13And then exhale.

7:16Let the body relax.

7:33Now, allow your breath to settle and let your mind settle with it.

7:58Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.

8:19Take this verse with you, "Don't be afraid.

8:26I saved you.

8:29I named you.

8:32You are mine." Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of the body.

8:52Notice the weight of the body on the chair.

8:56And when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open and take a nice deep breath.

9:06Notice how your breath changes the way you feel.

9:11I hope you feel a little more in touch with God.

9:17We'll see you again next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
