0:01What you tell yourself has the power to transform your life.

0:10As you meditate today, be kind to yourself.

0:17Keep your thoughts rooted in the reality of your life, but give yourself the room to grow.

0:26Be patient with yourself, just as God is patient with you.

0:34Tomorrow is an open page.

0:42Okay, let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:54As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:06Take a moment to consider this verse: "Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them." And again,

1:32"Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them." With ease, bring your attention to the breath.

2:08Take a few nice, deep breaths.

2:16Make them feel easy and effortless.

2:34Feel life enter your body as you breathe in, and then release your tension as you breathe out.

3:00Inhale.

3:03Feel how the body expands.

3:07Then slowly exhale, feeling the body fall.

3:26Feel the air as it travels in through the nose, and follow the air back out through the mouth.

3:43Allow each breath to soften the chest and relax the shoulders.

3:53Begin to scan the body from the head to the toe, relaxing the body piece by piece.

4:10There's no way to do this wrong.

4:22And now, for a few moments, allow your mind to do what it wants to do.

4:33If it wants to think, then let it think.

4:40And if it wants to rest, then let it rest.

4:58Bring your attention to any tightness in the body, just noticing how the body feels.

5:29Start by relaxing the hands, letting go of any tension in the hands.

5:51Allow the arms to totally relax, letting go at the elbows and the wrists.

6:13Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.

6:30Let the legs become heavy.

6:41Allow the muscles to completely let go.

7:01Let your body totally relax and release.

7:21And now, if it feels comfortable, take a big deep breath, letting the air fill up the body.

7:40Notice how the breath changes the way the body feels.

8:01And now, for a moment or two, let go of any focus, and just allow yourself to be.

8:26Take this verse with you, "Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them." Gently bring your awareness

8:57back to the feeling of your breath.

9:01Listen to the sound of your breathing.

9:05And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

9:15Give yourself a stretch, and sit back and relax.

9:20Remember to take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:28I hope you feel better.

9:31Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
