0:00Life has a tendency to feel like you're in a small boat being tossed around in a storm, and you aren't sure if you're gonna make it.

0:16Jesus slept through the storm, not because He didn't understand the danger of the situation, but because He knew something that His disciples didn't: God had a plan for their

0:32life.

0:35When it feels like life is a storm and all hope is lost, remember, God has a plan for your life.

0:51Let's begin by allowing the body to become heavy.

1:00And as you begin to relax, allow your eyes to close.

1:10Now, take a moment to consider this verse: "This is my command: Be strong and courageous.

1:25Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." And again, "This is my command: Be strong and courageous.

1:52Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

2:30Not engaging with your feelings, just noticing them.

2:44Almost like you're observing your emotions and then letting them go.

2:56Just like loosening your grip, you're letting go of those feelings.

3:15Let God handle whatever is out of your control.

3:28This is a place of acceptance and safety.

3:36You can always find rest in God.

3:48Now, begin to notice how your body feels.

3:58When it feels comfortable, begin to consciously relax the body.

4:12Scanning down from your head to your toes, release any areas of tension in the body.

4:32Surrender all of your stress and all of your responsibilities, and just let your mind rest.

4:56You are safe.

4:59God is looking out for you.

5:20Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.

5:27Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

5:46Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.

6:06Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly.

6:14And then exhale, controlling the breath.

6:27Allow yourself to be here in this moment.

6:37This is all that matters right now.

6:45Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.

6:52Release it to God.

7:04Today is a new day, with new opportunities.

7:18Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your Creator, who loves you.

7:36Deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

7:54Remember, this is a place of love.

8:00Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.

8:06God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

8:26Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.

8:46Take this verse with you: This is my command: Be strong and courageous.

8:58Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

9:21When it feels easy, bring your attention back to the feeling of the breath.

9:30Take a few more deep breaths and slowly allow your eyes to open.

9:39Notice how the breath changes the way you feel.

9:43I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:47We'll see you again tomorrow.

9:50Take care of yourself.
