0:21Rest is natural and needed.
0:30Today, as you meditate, allow yourself to rest without guilt or distraction.
0:40Rest is holy, and you deserve to rest.
0:51Okay.
0:52Let's begin by consciously relaxing the body, and when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.
1:09As your body begins to settle, take a moment to consider this verse: "When I awaken in the morning, you are still thinking of Me." And again, "When I awaken
1:34in the morning, you are still thinking of Me." In your own time, take a few nice deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
2:11Allow the body to let go a little bit more with each exhale.
2:25Feel the face and the neck softening as your body begins to relax.
2:40Notice how your breath softens and relaxes the body.
2:55Come to that sense of weight in the body, allowing the chair to hold the body up.
3:13Relax the arms all the way down to the hands.
3:21Allow the legs to become heavy, relaxing all the way down to the toes.
3:37Feel the muscles softening.
3:49Allow the natural rhythm of the breath to relax the body.
4:01Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.
4:14Just noticing how good it feels just to breathe.
4:32And now, for a moment or two, let your awareness be free.
4:41Let it rest.
4:55Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.
5:11Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.
5:37Notice how good it feels just to breathe.
5:53With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.
6:04With each exhale, release and let your body relax.
6:24Feel your feet on the floor and the weight of your body in the chair.
6:42Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.
6:52Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.
7:07Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them as an observer.
7:24Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.
7:35Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.
7:55Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.
8:04God is working in your life.
8:21Take this verse with you: When I awaken in the morning, you are still thinking of me.
8:42When you feel ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the breath and allow your eyes to open.
8:54Take a few deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
9:05Notice how you feel.
9:10I hope you feel a little more relaxed.
9:14We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
