0:00Comparison is the thief of joy.

0:09Comparison has the power to change things that you were happy with into something that no longer meets your needs.

0:23It's natural to compare what we have to others, but you need to remember that what you have is real, and what you don't have will always fall short of

0:35what you imagined it would be.

0:44When you feel ready, go ahead and get comfortable in your position, really allowing the body to relax.

0:59And when you're ready, let your eyes slowly close.

1:08Take a moment to consider this verse: Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.

1:26And again, love doesn't want what it doesn't have.

1:45Bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

1:59Not engaging with your feelings, just noticing them.

2:13Almost like you're observing your emotions, and then letting them go.

2:25Just like loosening your grip, you're letting go of those feelings.

2:44Let God handle whatever is out of your control.

2:57This is a place of acceptance and safety.

3:05You can always find rest in God.

3:17Now, begin to notice how your body feels.

3:25When it feels comfortable, begin to consciously relax the body.

3:41Scanning down from your head to your toes, release any areas of tension in the body.

4:01Surrender all of your stress and all of your responsibilities, and just let your mind rest.

4:25You are safe.

4:28God is looking out for you.

4:45Now, bring your attention to your breath.

4:55Just a soft, easy awareness.

5:06Notice what it feels like as air passes in through the nose and then back out through the mouth.

5:27Let the breath bring life to your body.

5:45Begin to listen to the sound of your breath.

5:56Listening to the inhale and the exhale.

6:13On the next exhale, allow the breath to relax and become natural.

6:43Allow your breath to bring renewal to your body.

6:53You're making space to notice God's presence in your life.

7:09When it feels comfortable, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

7:25Allow that rhythm and stillness to enter every part of your body.

7:48Feel the presence of God in this space.

7:57Let go of control, and rest into the arms of God.

8:15Take this verse with you, "Love doesn't want what it doesn't have." Softly begin to bring your awareness back to the body, back to that feeling of weight in the

8:45body.

8:47And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take a big, deep breath in.

8:56Take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:02I hope you feel a little more present.

9:06We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.

9:11Take care.
