0:01As you meditate today, let your heart rest on the blessings that God has given you.
0:16As you pray, allow yourself to see all the ways your life is a gift.
0:28Okay, let's begin by getting comfortable.
0:36Take a few nice, big, deep breaths.
0:43And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.
0:53Take a moment to consider this verse, "Be confident, my heart, because the Lord has been good to me." And again, "Be confident, my heart, because the Lord has been
1:21good to me." When it feels comfortable, go ahead and take a few deep breaths in.
1:46Nice and easy.
1:54Let the breath settle and become natural, and bring your attention to the space in the room.
2:08Not thinking too hard about it, just becoming aware of your body and your surroundings.
2:26Notice the air on the skin.
2:35Feel the chair beneath you.
2:44Pay attention to the position of your body.
2:49Make sure that you're comfortable.
3:02Notice the state of your mind.
3:08Does the mind feel calm?
3:11Does it feel restless?
3:15Both are okay.
3:23Just a simple, easy noticing.
3:36Just noticing the space, almost like you're an observer.
3:51Notice the gentle sound of your breath coming in and going out.
4:04Deepening the inhales and extending the exhales, letting the body rest.
4:25Just relax.
4:42Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.
4:49Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.
5:05Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.
5:23Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly, and then exhale, controlling the breath.
5:48Allow yourself to be here in this moment.
5:56This is all that matters right now.
6:02Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.
6:10Release it to God.
6:21Today is a new day, with new opportunities.
6:39Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your creator, who loves you.
6:58Deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
7:14Remember, this is a place of love.
7:21Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.
7:26God's calming presence is always accessible to you.
7:44Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.
8:04Take this verse with you, "Be confident, my heart, because the Lord has been good to me." Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body, maybe even move
8:35your fingers and toes a little bit.
8:38When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.
8:45Take another big, deep breath in, and let it out with a sigh.
8:52Notice how you feel.
8:55I hope you feel a little more relaxed.
8:58We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
