0:00Changing your mind begins with changing your perspective.
0:10Openness requires you to see things from a different angle.
0:21Today, as you meditate, allow your heart to open so God can give you perspective and wisdom.
0:35Okay, let's get started by allowing the body to relax.
0:45And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.
0:55Now, take a moment to consider this verse: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all
1:12your mind." And again, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind." When it
1:52feels natural, begin to consciously relax the body.
2:04Release the tension in your hands.
2:15Let the shoulders relax, and fall away from the ears.
2:27Allow the neck to relax and let go.
2:41Take a big, deep breath in.
2:48Release your stress.
2:52Let go of your frustrations.
3:01If your mind is full of thoughts, it's okay.
3:14When it feels natural, just come back to the feeling of the breath.
3:28We aren't holding onto the thoughts.
3:32We're just noticing them, and letting them go.
3:46Bring your awareness to the way your body feels.
3:56Notice how your breath relaxes the body.
4:05Allow that natural rhythm of your breath to calm your body.
4:15Not trying to change anything, just accepting the body the way it is.
4:32Allow yourself to relax in the loving presence of God.
4:57Now bring your attention to the position of the body.
5:06Make sure you can breathe in an open and natural way.
5:27Allow the chest to open and take a few nice, deep breaths.
5:41Let the breath fill the body up with life.
5:58With each breath, you're bringing your awareness into this moment.
6:18Relax, and allow God to speak to you in the way that He wants.
6:40Let your thoughts go, and allow your awareness to rest in this moment.
6:56If your thoughts wander off, that's okay.
7:02It's natural for the thoughts to drift.
7:14As best you can, leave those thoughts right where they are, and come back to that feeling of your body.
7:33Our feelings and emotions can distract us from the natural calm of God's love.
7:46There isn't anything to discover.
7:50It's always been there.
8:00This is a safe place.
8:04God loves you.
8:21Take this verse with you: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind.
8:51Softly, begin to bring your awareness back to the body, back to that feeling of weight in the body.
9:02And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take a big, deep breath in.
9:11Take a moment to check in, and notice how you feel.
9:17I hope you feel a little more present.
9:21We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
9:26Take care.
