0:00Changes that endure in our life are gradual and do not come overnight.

0:09Change is uncomfortable.

0:17If you can accept change as part of the process of growth, results will come.

0:29Be patient.

0:31Remember, growth is a gradual process.

0:41Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.

0:49And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.

1:00Take a moment to consider this verse, "I will watch over you and be your guide." And again, "I will watch over you and be your guide." As you relax,

1:37allow God's presence of peace to wash over you.

1:53Let your breath fill your body and relax your muscles.

2:09As your breath relaxes your body, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

2:27Just noticing the quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.

2:41Allow that rhythm and stillness to calm your mind, to relax your body.

3:01Let go of any feelings of stress or worry.

3:17God is taking care of you.

3:31Allow those feelings to go.

3:39You are safe here.

3:51And if thoughts take you away, that's okay.

3:57Be easy with the thoughts.

4:01Just remember, you can always come back to the breath and the heartbeat.

4:20Let yourself relax and allow God to speak to your heart.

4:42Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the space around the room.

4:59Just noticing the sounds in the room and the sensations on the body.

5:10Welcome these sensations as part of the practice.

5:34When it feels comfortable, take some nice deep breaths.

5:48Real easy, deep breaths.

6:09Now, begin to slow down the inhale.

6:18Long, slow, deep inhalation, and then let the breath out, and relax.

6:36Again, take another long, slow, deep breath in, filling up the body, and then let the exhale come naturally.

7:00With each breath, let your mind relax.

7:18Allow your feelings to release and become a prayer to God.

7:36Now, for a few moments, let go of the focused attention and let your awareness rest.

7:49You are loved.

8:05Take this verse with you, "I will watch over you and be your guide." Slowly bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, allow your eyes

8:36to open.

8:40Take a moment to notice how your body feels.

8:46I hope you feel a little better.

8:50We'll see you again tomorrow with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.

8:56Remember, be easy with yourself.
