0:00Cultivating peace in your life is something that occurs on a daily basis.

0:12Connecting with God and gaining perspective on the things happening in your life is key to maintaining a peaceful mindset.

0:28Meditation and prayer act like water on the roots of peace.

0:40Practicing daily, you'll see gradual changes that can make a world of difference.

0:52Okay, let's go ahead and get started by getting comfortable in your chair.

1:02And when you're ready, take a few nice deep breaths and allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:18As your body begins to settle, take a moment to consider this verse, "If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me." And again, "If you look for me

1:42wholeheartedly, you will find me." Bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

2:12Not engaging with your feelings, just noticing them.

2:26Almost like you're observing your emotions, and then letting them go.

2:38Just like loosening your grip, you're letting go of those feelings.

2:57Let God handle whatever is out of your control.

3:10This is a place of acceptance and safety.

3:18You can always find rest in God.

3:30Now, begin to notice how your body feels.

3:40When it feels comfortable, begin to consciously relax the body.

3:54Scanning down from your head to your toes, release any areas of tension in the body.

4:14Surrender all of your stress and all of your responsibilities, and just let your mind rest.

4:38You are safe.

4:41God is looking out for you.

5:01Now, gently bring your awareness to the breath.

5:08Allow your breath to deepen and fill the lungs.

5:23Big, deep breath in, and then taking twice as long on the exhale.

5:43Let the inhale come easily and effortlessly, and then exhale, controlling the breath.

6:10Allow yourself to be here in this moment.

6:22This is all that matters right now.

6:30Whatever you need to let go of, let it go.

6:37Release it to God.

6:51Today is a new day, with new opportunities.

7:01Allow your breath to renew your spirit and connect you to your creator, who loves you.

7:18Deep breath, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

7:38Remember, this is a place of love.

7:44Let this practice be whatever you need it to be.

7:50God's calming presence is always accessible to you.

8:08Let your awareness rest in the loving presence of God.

8:28Take this verse with you: If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

8:49Gently bring your awareness back to the body, and when you feel ready, slowly open your eyes and take a nice deep breath.

9:05Sit back and relax for a moment.

9:09How do you feel?

9:13I hope you feel a little better.

9:16We'll see you next time, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
