0:01As we learn to connect deeper with God, we're also learning to connect deeper with His creation.

0:13We become more connected to purpose and to meaning.

0:24We naturally begin to see the value in others and in nature.

0:36As you meditate today, let the love of God bring new life and new connection to your soul.

0:51Let's begin by allowing the body to become heavy.

1:00And as you begin to relax, allow your eyes to close.

1:10Now, take a moment to consider this verse: You were dead, but now you have new life.

1:27And again, you were dead, but now you have new life.

1:46Now, bring your awareness to the feeling of the body.

1:58Maybe there's some muscle tightness or stress lingering in the body.

2:10Slowly bring your attention to those areas of tightness, and relax them piece by piece.

2:30Feel the weight of your body in the chair.

2:42As your body begins to relax, allow your mind to let go.

2:54Give yourself permission to start fresh.

3:06What is done is done.

3:09All you have is this moment.

3:22This is a safe place.

3:26Release your thoughts to God.

3:42When it feels comfortable, take a few nice deep breaths.

3:54Inhale, feel the chest rise, and exhale, feel the chest fall.

4:11There's no way to do this wrong.

4:20If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.

4:25When it feels comfortable, bring your awareness back to the feeling of the breath.

4:50With a gentle ease, let's go ahead and take a nice deep breath.

5:06Notice how good it feels just to breathe.

5:20Allow your inhales to fill the body up.

5:32And then, totally relax the body on the exhale.

5:48Notice how your breath changes the way your body feels.

6:04And on your next inhale, begin to count the breath.

6:12One on the inhale, and two on the exhale.

6:20Three on the next inhale, and four on the next exhale, counting up to 10, and then starting over again.

6:38If you lose track of the breath, it's okay.

6:42Just start over again counting from one.

7:14There is nowhere to go, nowhere to be.

7:22We are just here, counting the breath.

7:36On the next exhale, allow the breath to relax and become natural.

7:56And now for a moment or two, let your mind relax.

8:16Take this verse with you.

8:20You were dead, but now you have new life.

8:36When it feels natural, bring your awareness back to the room.

8:44Just noticing the room with a gentle appreciation.

8:50And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly open.

8:57Take a moment to notice how you feel.

9:01I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:04We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.
