0:00Frequently, our words say that we trust God, but our actions and fears tell a different story.

0:10As you listen to this meditation, trust God with more than just words.

0:17Trust Him with your actions.

0:20Act as if God is looking out for you, because He is.

0:28Okay.

0:30Let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few nice, deep breaths.

0:40As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

0:53Take a moment to consider this verse, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." And again, "Trust in the Lord with

1:19all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the space around the room, just noticing the sounds in the

2:01room and the sensations on the body.

2:10Welcome these sensations as part of the practice.

2:26When it feels comfortable, take some nice, deep breaths.

2:42Real easy, deep breaths.

2:58Now, begin to slow down the inhale, long, slow, deep inhalation, and then let the breath out, and relax.

3:18Again, take another long, slow, deep breath in, filling up the body, and then let the exhale come naturally.

3:38With each breath, let your mind relax.

3:52Allow your feelings to release and become a prayer to God.

4:12Now, for a few moments, let go of the focused attention and let your awareness rest.

4:25You are loved.

4:45And now, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

4:57Allow its rhythm to relax the body.

5:10As you begin to relax, bring your attention to the weight of the body.

5:33Allow the arms and the legs to become heavy.

5:46Allow the face to soften all the way down through the neck.

5:59Soften the skin.

6:06Allow the corners of the eyes to relax.

6:16Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.

6:26Release the elbows.

6:36Let the wrists and the hands relax.

6:45Soften the chest and the stomach.

6:57Release the hips and the thighs.

7:10Relax the calves, all the way down to the ankles.

7:25Allow the entire body to let go and totally relax.

7:49There is nowhere to go; you are exactly where you're supposed to be.

8:10Take this verse with you: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

8:34Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.

8:41Listen to the sound of your breathing.

8:46And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

8:56Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.

9:01Remember to take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:08I hope you feel better.

9:11Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
