0:00When you fail, have patience with yourself.
0:04God does.
0:06He understands that you're growing and you're changing.
0:12You are being built to be a place that God will live in.
0:18Remind yourself of that as you go about your day.
0:24Okay, let's begin by taking a few seconds to consciously relax the body.
0:38And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.
0:47Now, take a moment to consider this verse: "We are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God's perfect plan." And again, "We
1:15are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God's perfect plan." Bring your attention to the feeling of the breath.
1:49Let it settle into a natural rhythm, effortless and easy.
2:07Notice how good it feels just to breathe.
2:23With each inhale, let your body fill up with new life.
2:33With each exhale, release and let your body relax.
2:51Feel your feet on the floor and the weight of your body in the chair.
3:09Now, gently bring your attention to your emotions.
3:19Just noticing the feelings that you brought with you today.
3:33Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them as an observer.
3:51Remember that you can leave those feelings right where they are.
4:02Just allow those thoughts to bubble up and out.
4:19Remember, today is a new day with new opportunities.
4:27God is working in your life.
4:42With an easy awareness, bring your attention to the space in the room.
5:02Just noticing the space with an easy curiosity.
5:13Notice your place in the room.
5:31Feel the air on your skin.
5:43Listen to the sounds in the room.
5:49Maybe it's quiet in the room, maybe it's not.
5:55Both are okay.
6:05You're just listening, and welcoming the sounds as part of the exercise.
6:19Not wishing to change the sounds, just accepting the sounds as they are.
6:47When it feels natural, slowly bring your awareness to the breath.
7:04Allow your breath to be a reminder to stay in this present moment.
7:22If your mind begins to wander, you can always come back to the feeling of the breath.
7:43Relax, and let your body honor the natural calm that only comes from the presence of a loving God.
8:09Take this verse with you: "We are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God's perfect plan." Allow your awareness to slowly come
8:40back to your body, and when it feels natural, begin to open your eyes.
8:51Sit back in your chair.
8:54Maybe you want to stretch a little bit.
8:57Do whatever feels good.
9:00Take a moment to notice how you feel.
9:05I hope you feel a little more relaxed.
9:09We'll see you again tomorrow, for another day of hope.
