0:00Peace is within us.

0:07Finding that peace takes awareness.

0:14The world is designed to engage our minds, and this makes it hard to rest into that peace.

0:27As you begin to meditate, allow yourself to rest into this peace of time with God.

0:39Okay, let's get started by allowing the body to relax.

0:47And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.

0:58Take a moment to consider this verse: "When you have troubles, I am with you.

1:10When you cross rivers, you will not be hurt.

1:15When you walk through fire, you will not be burned." And again, "When you have troubles, I am with you.

1:37When you cross rivers, you will not be hurt.

1:43When you walk through fire, you will not be burned." Now, bring your attention to any emotions you're carrying with you.

2:13Not engaging with the emotions, just noticing them with an easy curiosity.

2:37Now, take a few deep breaths and allow the body to relax a little more with each exhale.

2:58With each passing thought, allow your awareness to rest deeper into God's love.

3:18Now, begin to deepen the breath.

3:29Inhale slowly and lengthen the breath, and then exhale, letting go of the breath.

3:47And then right back into the next inhale.

3:55Slow it down and make it deep.

4:05And then exhale.

4:07Let the body relax.

4:25Now, allow your breath to settle and let your mind settle with it.

4:43Give yourself space just to be who you are, a child of God.

5:08Keeping your eyes closed, bring your awareness to the space around the room.

5:29Just noticing the sounds in the room and the sensations on the body.

5:46Welcome these sensations as part of the practice.

6:07...

6:07when it feels comfortable.

6:10Take some nice deep breaths.

6:21Real easy, deep breaths.

6:44Now begin to slow down the inhale.

6:52Long, slow, deep inhalation, and then let the breath out, and relax.

7:06Again, take another long, slow, deep breath in, filling up the body, and then let the exhale come naturally.

7:28With each breath, let your mind relax.

7:46Allow your feelings to release and become a prayer to God.

8:02Now, for a few moments, let go of the focused attention and let your awareness rest.

8:15You are loved.

8:31Take this verse with you.

8:35"When you have troubles, I am with you.

8:40When you cross rivers, you will not be hurt.

8:46When you walk through fire, you will not be burned." Softly, begin to bring your awareness back to the body, back to that feeling of weight in the body.

9:15And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take a big deep breath in.

9:24Take a moment to check in and notice how you feel.

9:30I hope you feel a little more present.

9:34We'll see you again tomorrow for another day of hope.

9:39Take care.
