0:00God's presence is like the wind.
0:07You can't see it, but you can feel it.
0:16Today, as you enter into this meditation, allow yourself to rest in the presence of God.
0:31Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.
0:39And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.
0:50Take a moment to consider this verse, "Happy is the man you choose and bring near to you to live in your holy place." And again, "Happy is the man
1:16you choose and bring near to you to live in your holy place." With ease, bring your attention to the breath.
1:44Take a few nice, deep breaths.
1:52Make them feel easy and effortless.
2:10Feel life enter your body as you breathe in, and then release your tension as you breathe out.
2:36Inhale.
2:38Feel how the body expands.
2:43Then, slowly exhale, feeling the body fall.
3:02Feel the air as it travels in through the nose, and follow the air back out through the mouth.
3:19Allow each breath to soften the chest and relax the shoulders.
3:29Begin to scan the body from the head to the toe, relaxing the body piece by piece.
3:46There's no way to do this wrong.
3:57And now, for a few moments, allow your mind to do what it wants to do.
4:09If it wants to think, then let it think.
4:15And if it wants to rest, then let it rest.
4:36Bring your attention to any tightness in the body, just noticing how the body feels.
5:10Start by relaxing the hands, letting go of any tension in the hands.
5:34Allow the arms to totally relax, letting go at the elbows and the wrists.
5:55Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.
6:13Let the legs become heavy.
6:27Allow the muscles to completely let go.
6:43Let your body totally relax and release.
7:01And now, if it feels comfortable, take a big deep breath, letting the air fill up the body.
7:20Notice how the breath changes the way the body feels.
7:36And now, for a moment or two, let go of any focus, and just allow yourself to be.
8:02Take this verse with you, "Happy is the man you choose and bring near to you to live in your holy place." Slowly bring your awareness back to the body,
8:33and when you feel ready, allow your eyes to open.
8:40Take a moment to notice how your body feels.
8:46I hope you feel a little better.
8:50We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
8:57Remember, be easy with yourself.
