0:00Accepting life as it is means coming to terms with not having all of the answers.

0:10It means that you're placing your trust in the love of God.

0:16As you meditate today, allow yourself to truly rest.

0:24You may not find all of the answers that you seek, but know that you're taken care of and you are loved.

0:39Let's begin by loosening the shoulders and the chest.

0:48And when you feel ready, just allow the eyes to slowly close.

0:59Take a moment to consider this verse, "Don't worry, I am with you.

1:09Don't be afraid, I am your God." And again, "Don't worry, I am with you.

1:28Don't be afraid, I am your God." In your own time, take a few nice deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.

2:03Allow the body to let go a little bit more with each exhale.

2:17Feel the face and the neck softening as your body begins to relax.

2:33Notice how your breath softens and relaxes the body.

2:47Come to that sense of weight in the body, allowing the chair to hold the body up.

3:05Relax the arms all the way down to the hands.

3:13Allow the legs to become heavy, relaxing all the way down to the toes.

3:30Feel the muscles softening.

3:41Allow the natural rhythm of the breath to relax the body.

3:53Notice the rise and the fall of the chest.

4:06Just noticing how good it feels just to breathe.

4:25And now, for a moment or two, let your awareness be free.

4:33Let it rest.

4:49As you relax, allow God's presence of peace to wash over you.

5:11Let your breath fill your body and relax your muscles.

5:29As your breath relaxes your body, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

5:50Just noticing the quiet rhythm of your heartbeat.

6:03Allow that rhythm and stillness to calm your mind, to relax your body.

6:25Let go of any feelings of stress or worry.

6:43God is taking care of you.

7:00Allow those feelings to go.

7:08You are safe here.

7:23And if thoughts take you away, that's okay, be easy with the thoughts.

7:34Just remember, you can always come back to the breath and the heartbeat.

7:53Let yourself relax and allow God to speak to your heart.

8:13Take this verse with you, "Don't worry, I am with you.

8:23Don't be afraid, I am your God." Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the body, maybe even move your fingers and toes a little bit.

8:51When it feels natural, allow your eyes to slowly open.

8:59Take another big deep breath in and let it out with a sigh.

9:05Notice how you feel.

9:08I hope you feel a little more relaxed.

9:11We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
