0:00You are not some insignificant speck in the universe.

0:07You are God's prized creation.

0:12You were specifically designed by God to be exactly who you are.

0:22Today, as you meditate, know that you are special and you are loved.

0:35Okay, let's begin by getting comfortable.

0:43Take a few nice big, deep breaths.

0:50And when you're ready, allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:00Take a moment to consider this verse: "How precious are your thoughts about me, oh God, and when I wake up, you are still with me." And again, "How precious

1:29are your thoughts about me, oh God, and when I wake up, you are still with me." Now, bring your attention to your breath.

1:55Just a soft, easy awareness.

2:07Notice what it feels like as air passes in through the nose, and then back out through the mouth.

2:25Let the breath bring life to your body.

2:42Begin to listen to the sound of your breath.

2:50Listening to the inhale and the exhale.

3:08On the next exhale, allow the breath to relax and become natural.

3:28Allow your breath to bring renewal to your body.

3:36You're making space to notice God's presence in your life.

3:53When it feels comfortable, bring your attention to the heartbeat.

4:08Allow that rhythm and stillness to enter every part of your body.

4:26Feel the presence of God in this space.

4:32Let go of control, and rest into the arms of God.

4:55When it feels comfortable, take a few nice, deep breaths in.

5:12Really making a point to expand the body and expand the chest.

5:30Notice how the breath makes you feel.

5:44Now, let the breath begin to settle.

5:54As your breath begins to settle, allow the body to become heavy.

6:16Notice any sensations in the body.

6:22See if you're holding on to any tension.

6:30Maybe the body is tight, or maybe it's not.

6:36Either is okay.

6:46You're just scanning the body, looking for any areas of tightness, and letting them release.

7:02And if the mind drifts away in thought, slowly bring it back to the feelings in the body and the breath.

7:22Your body knows how to relax.

7:34You don't have to think about it for it to happen.

7:38You are simply uncovering the calm that was always present.

8:00Let your awareness rest in the arms of God.

8:18Take this verse with you.

8:22"How precious are your thoughts about me, oh God, and when I wake up, you are still with me." Slowly bring your awareness back to the body, and when you

8:51feel ready, allow your eyes to open.

8:58Take a moment to notice how your body feels.

9:04I hope you feel a little better.

9:08We'll see you again tomorrow with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.

9:15Remember, be easy with yourself.
