0:00The Bible says that you were made in God's image.

0:08This means that all of your thoughts and feelings and fears aren't foreign to Him.

0:16He understands.

0:19In fact, He understands so much that He doesn't even judge you for them.

0:29He knows what you are thinking and feeling.

0:37Today, as you meditate, remember that you are understood because God sees Himself in you.

0:51Okay, let's begin by getting comfortable and taking a few deep breaths.

1:03As you begin to feel your body releasing, allow your eyes to slowly close.

1:15Now, take a moment to consider this verse, "You are precious to me." And again, "You are precious to me." With ease, bring your attention to the breath.

2:03Take a few nice deep breaths.

2:11Make them feel easy and effortless.

2:29Feel life enter your body as you breathe in, and then release your tension as you breathe out.

2:55Inhale.

2:57Feel how the body expands.

3:02Then, slowly exhale, feeling the body fall.

3:21Feel the air as it travels in through the nose, and follow the air back out through the mouth.

3:38Allow each breath to soften the chest and relax the shoulders.

3:48Begin to scan the body from the head to the toe, relaxing the body piece by piece.

4:05There's no way to do this wrong.

4:16And now, for a few moments, allow your mind to do what it wants to do.

4:28If it wants to think, then let it think.

4:34And if it wants to rest, then let it rest.

4:53Bring your attention to any tightness in the body, just noticing how the body feels.

5:23Start by relaxing the hands, letting go of any tension in the hands.

5:45Allow the arms to totally relax, letting go at the elbows and the wrists.

6:08Let the shoulders fall away from the ears.

6:24Let the legs become heavy.

6:36Allow the muscles to completely let go.

6:56Let your body totally relax and release.

7:15And now, if it feels comfortable, take a big deep breath, letting the air fill up the body.

7:35Notice how the breath changes the way the body feels.

7:56And now, for a moment or two, let go of any focus, and just allow yourself to be.

8:21Take this verse with you: You are precious to me.

8:40Gently bring your awareness back to the feeling of your breath.

8:47Listen to the sound of your breathing.

8:52And when you're ready, slowly open your eyes and take another deep breath in.

9:01Give yourself a stretch and sit back and relax.

9:06Remember to take a moment to check in, and notice how you feel.

9:14I hope you feel better.

9:17Take care, and we'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
