0:00If you're looking for God, don't stress about where to find Him, because He's everywhere.
0:08He's in all things, the beauty of nature and the beauty in the kindness of a stranger.
0:17He's with you all the time.
0:22Finding God is about a change in perspective, not a change in location or a new experience.
0:33Rest and allow God to change your perspective.
0:44Okay, let's get started by allowing the body to relax.
0:52And when you're ready, let your eyes close like the sun sets.
1:04Take a moment to consider this verse, "I am with you always, even to the end of the world." And again, "I am with you always, even to the end
1:29of the world." Now, bring your attention to the way the body feels.
1:52Just noticing any areas of tightness in the body.
2:06If it feels comfortable, take a few nice, deep breaths.
2:20Allow your breath to loosen any areas of tightness in the body.
2:36With each breath, allow a sense of calm to wash over your body.
2:50Allow your body to totally release and let go.
3:06Now, bring your attention to the top of the head.
3:16Begin to soften the forehead, down the front of the face.
3:27Relax the corners of the eyes.
3:35Allow the neck to relax, and the shoulders to fall away from the ears.
3:47Relax the temples.
3:52The legs are becoming heavy.
4:02Feel the weight of the body.
4:10Let your whole body soften and release.
4:26Allow your mind to rest with the presence of God.
4:44Now, bring your awareness to the feeling of the body.
4:58Maybe there's some muscle tightness or stress lingering in the body.
5:09Slowly bring your attention to those areas of tightness and relax them piece by piece.
5:33As your body begins to relax, allow your mind to let go.
6:04Give yourself permission to start fresh.
6:14What is done, is done.
6:18All you have is this moment.
6:38This is a safe place.
6:42Release your thoughts to God.
6:58When it feels comfortable, take a few nice, deep breaths.
7:12Inhale.
7:14Feel the chest rise.
7:18And exhale.
7:20Feel the chest fall.
7:31There's no way to do this wrong.
7:43If the thoughts take you away, that's okay.
7:49When it feels comfortable, bring your awareness back to the feeling of the breath.
8:12Take this verse with you: I am with you always, even to the end of the world.
8:33When you feel ready, slowly bring your awareness back to the breath and allow your eyes to open.
8:44Take a few deep breaths, in through the nose and out through the mouth.
8:55Notice how you feel.
9:00I hope you feel a little more relaxed.
9:04We'll see you again tomorrow, with hope, mindfulness, and prayer.
